viper 5500 remote start

i need to know how to adjust the crank time on the viper 5500 system. it just doesnt crank long enough and i have to try it 3 times with the remote to get it to work.

you can adjust it thru the programming menu... but are you sure that you have everything hooked up correctly? because i have very, very rarely EVER had to adjust the crank time on a DEI piece.....

do you have it programmed for tach or voltage?

I agree.  First you have to see if your vehicle has an immobilizer.  This will cause the car to keep cranking and not let the vehicle fully turn on.  What type of vehicle is it?
