I have a 550ES remote start alarm system in my truck. I have a new/used remote I am trying to program. Anyone have instructions on how I can do this.

I already tried turning the key to on

within 5 sec hitting the valet button one

and then hitting it again for channel 1 (I also tried it for channel 2 didn't make a difference)

pressing the lock button on the transmitter

then turning the key back off.

After doing this I get one button on the transmitter to work (the lock button). It will lock and unlock the doors and if I hold it, it will set off the alarm, but no start.

My system, the way it's set up with the remotes it came with, requires the lock/unlock buttons to be held in together to start it. Lock locks and unlock unlocks the doors. If I want to activate the alarm I hold the orange button.

Does anyone has the instructions I need? Thanks
