2000 acura integra sl2 transponder wiring

After troubleshooting my remote start installation for nearly 2 hrs the owner of the 2000 Acura Integra told me he has a transponder key.. I know I should've asked before, d'oh.

So after searching throught the forum I found the Honda-SL is the best transponder bypass module. I am looking at the installation manual and I noticed Wire Colors are not listed for the integras. Will this module work for Acura Integras? I know it is a Type2 connection but do I just count the pins since wire colors are not listed?

Also for [Blue (-) Ground In] on the Honda-SL am I supposed to hook this up to the [Blue/White (-) Status] wire on the Clifford Matrix 50.5 module? And should I set that to latch or pulse?

Astro shows it like this.

Data wire is red, pin 2.

Synchro is blue, pin 3

ground is brn/blk, pin 4

The blue on your module goes to ground while running.  (status is a stupid name, let's call it what it is) I am supprised there is a programming choice on a ground while running. If this is the case, latched. But I would check to make sure thats the correct wire on the brain.

Thanks for the reply, that's exactly what I needed! I agree, but I'm just quoting from DEI's installation manual. It is ground while running, I think it's main function is to run the defroster.
