I recently bought an UNGO ms2007 security system for my car.  I also bought a radar sensor to go with the basic system. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to hook-up the radar sensor to the system. I heard something about using diodes, does anyone know anything about this. Just in case it helps, I have a 99 Mercury Cougar. Thanks!

You can wire in the trigger system to either the impact sensor ( if it has an external impact trigger wire ) or one of the door or hood triggers. Use a diode to isolate the sensor from the trigger wire that you are attaching it to. Have the cathode band facing the trigger wire if (-) trigger .

Thanks for the info, I finally got my system today and I am planning on installing it next weekend. If I have any trouble I will put up another post.

Velocity, should the cathode band be facing the trigger wire on both the green and blue wires?, Do I need a diode for each sensor or just the proximity sensor?

Thanks
