I just got some power window kits installed in my car....but I just hooked the 2 power window motor lines to the switches & to the power source...works great... my only concern is will i need a relay to prevent the motors from burning out?....fuses?... anything?... I am fairly new to the electrical world with just basic radio install knowledge so bare with me if you can explain what's needed or not to me.. thanks....

Use a fuse or circuit breaker within a few inches of the point that you attached the main power wire to. For two windows you want a rating of about 25 amps for the fuse or breaker.

^^^ Self resetting circuit breaker may work. Motors may have a thermal switch built in as well.
