You can not do it the way you want with the e-brake. The reason is that as long as the e-brake is on, the relays are energized (hence draining your battery ). The only way you can do this is with a latching relay along with two other relays ( flip flop relay configuration ). I had the mirrors from a HDM Integra XSi that I put onto the Velocity Integra & I used two channels on my alarm to control the flip flop relays. I had the wires from the alarm set to latched and it worked like a charm.

would there be any way to wire them up to fold in when the car is armed and out when the car is disarmed? I ahve similar mirrors and I have a clifford arrow 3 alarm system I will be installing shortly. I would rather they not be on seprate channels but fold in and out with the alarm arming and disarming
thanks

Would'ent you just have to lift the ground ta the relay when lever is up there by letting them in N when lever is down     >ground does contact along with the hot motoring out till the in mirror stop sw.??  doubel pole on lever  singel pole relays  aa_hhhh_a  utilize the relays ground as <wouldent the hot still be there telling em go out, but how can you go out without the (-) connection  hot still be there except when ign is off????. Just a Guess
