Notes:

NOTE:  Chrysler vehicles that use a gray ignition key have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed when remote starting.  *1 Lock is positive thru a 1800 ohm resistor, unlock is positive thru a 750 ohm resistor. Must use relays.  *2 The BCM is attached to the fuse/relay box at the end of the dash on the driver side. Connector C4 is a 26 pin plug on the bottom edge of the BCM.  *3 All the door triggers are in connector C4 at the BCM. The drivers door trigger is tan in pin 5, the front passenger door is tan/red in pin 6, the left rear door is tan/orange in pin 7, and the right rear door is tan / YELLOW in pin 8. Use all four and diode isolate each.  *4 Arm is positive trigger thru a 1800 ohm resistor, disarm is positive thru a 750 ohm resistor. Must use relays.  *5 For tach go to either a coil or an injector and use the wire that is NOT GREEN/ lt. green.  *6 The PCM is between the air filter box and the power distribution box on the driver side of the engine compartment.

Thanks

Just a few Questions...

Is there a Diagram for the Door lock as described in NOTE *1

Also, what is the difference between Power lock/unlock and Motor lock/unlock?

In Note *3 It says to use all four door triggers. Is this really neccessary? Or can I just use the driver door without a diode.

The ungo has an Ignition input yet two are mentioned. Which one is used, if both how should I wire them?

Thanks in advance

Use this diagram with the resistor values listed above:

2001 Stratus SE Diagram for KE -- posted image.

Also, what is the difference between Power lock/unlock and Motor lock/unlock?

The motor wires are (+) trigger and bypass the keyless entry module and switch and the POWER unlock wire goes through the relay and the switch. It is easier to access these wires than having to go into the doors and run new wires

In Note *3 It says to use all four door triggers. Is this really neccessary? Or can I just use the driver door without a diode.

If you only grab one door, then all the others will not get sensed by the RS unit.

You will need to tie the other ignition wire in with a relay. You need a 5 pin 30/40 amp relay hooked up like thi:

  • 85 & 87 : 12 volts contant
  • 86 : GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING wire from RS unit
  • 30 : To Ignition # 2 on vehicle
  • 87a: NOT USED

By RS do you mean Remote start? If you do, I do not have a Remote start. All I have is a Keyless entry (Ungo KE106) do I still need to tie the second ignition wire in to the first?

Also can I unlock the passenger door locks seperately? If so what wire would use?

If it's just a KE module, then you will not have to use the second ignition output at all. This is just in the cases that the car requires the second ignition engaged to release the door lock or wake up a module. You can grab the motor wires instead of the switch wires for separate control of the locks. You will need a separate channel for each door unless you have priority door lock system in the car already.

The Ungo has 5 wires for the door lock harness thay are:

WHITE/ Black: Lock #87A (Normally Closed)

GREEN/ Black: Lock #30 (Common)

Blue/Black: Unlock #30 (Common)

BROWN / Black: Unlock #87A (Normally Closed)

Violet/Black: Lock/Unlock #87 (Normally Open) [10A fused]

According to the diagram above, I should ignore the numbers on the wiring harness and put them as described above but where would I put the common wires? At 30 Or at the WHITE/ Dk. Green wires in the vehicle. Also, the Violet/Black wire would go where?

Thanks in advance. Will try this weekend
