I have an Expedition with a factory installed Delco DVD. Does anyone how how to get video out on the unit? I want to be able to run a second monitor off of it. Looking at the unit, it will probably be an interesting hack but I am up to it. Thanks.

I doubt it's even possible without taking the whole thing apart and probably soldering stuff on.  Even then I don't even know if you could do it.  Of course, first thing I would do is start at the dvd source, then look for the wire/cable/connection that goes to the monitor.  Once you find that if you can figure out what kind of connection and/or cable it is, we might be able to give you some more ideas.  I've never tried this myself but of course theoretically it could be done...Delco factory DVD Video Out -- posted image.

a lot of thime the video signal in the factory units are way to strong for the after market units.....you might have to knock the signal down. if it is a 2003 whitch it probably is .....the over head just pops right down.....from what i remember it isnt screwed up there...must be nice to be able to engineer it into the car from the start!!!!!
