Anyone ever did this on a bike?

Built my own cheapie alarm years ago when I had a bike. Simply buy a small SPST switch, wire one side to the battery fused at something around 5 amps. hook the other side to a mercury switch and mount it to the frame transversely so that when it is on its sidedstand the circuit is open and when the bike is level and upright it closes the circuit. Wire the other side of the mercury switch to a piezo siren (roughly 85-95db) voiala! Be sure to ground the other side of the siren.All parts were available at radio shack and it was easy to hide on a bike without much by way of fairings. Low tech but not bad for around $20.00.R Jackson

Did you use a tach wire on the Harleys?

No, all i used for rs was DEI and switched it over to voltage sensing.Certified Security Specialist
