third brake light

how can i wire in a third brake light into a 88 silverado and not have it flash with the signal lights, will i just have to buy the module to keep it from flashing. is there any other way of doing this.

you need to run a wire right to the brake switch.  The wire will be white wire.  Check with a DMM it will rest at ground and go +12v when you push the brakes.  It could also possibly be yellow.  Most likely it is white.
