Knock off the adolescent remarks. We have enough problems on this site between professional disagreements, let alone children trying to be funny. If you want advice, ask for it. If you can't constructivly contribute to the conversation then keep your mouth shut and you might just learn something.
This Forum is here for car audio enthusiests and professionals to help others increase their knowledge and solve problems, not to be moronic and cynical of those trying to find answers. Everyone is held to a higher standard on this site, even newbies with only 1 or 2 posts. If you continue to carry on the "kiddie play" derrogatory remarks, then expect to have your access to this site revolked.

As to answer your question meatbag, what year BMW? And what type of headunit are you looking for (MP3, CD, Video Screen, etc...). Why is the depth of the headunit concerning you? Most of the time it is the DIN size (height of the headunit) that plays the main factor (1, 1.5, or double DIN). I'm not familiar with BMW specs, but that info could help someone else help you in a good choice.

And as for BMW3175 and LEXUS430, I strongly recommend reading the Forum Rules and Guidelines.

Sorry i thought i gave enought nfo. Its a 2003 M3 with the standard radio and no nav system. I have a Pioneer DEH-940MP. I found a dash kit by scoshe that will fit a 1 din HU. I think my HU needs about 7 1/4 of room behind it to fit but most of the installers i talk to dont know and want to tear the dash apart to tell me. If it doesnt fit i dont want to tear the car apart.

wvsquirrel...... I took care of the posts that he left. Hey Meatbag, your going to have to take the dash apart regardless. If it fits or not. Most BMW decks are standard depth so I don't think your going to have to worry about that.
