So was it the factory radio that blew the fuses?  Or the aftermarket one?

radio is most likely bad but it may be a speaker blown that will not let it fully power up and work so it blows the fuses to protect itself. trial and error test each speaker or first disconnect all speakers put a new fuse in and then see if it turns on without blowing fuse., if it does blow the fuse then radio is bad.. unplug radio and replace fuse if the fuse is good than your ok. but the radio is bad. also test each speaker with like a 12 volt dc battery put one negative wire on negative side of batt and pos wire on pos side of batt and if you get a pop the speaker should be ok but that does not def mean the speaker is ok.. listen to how they pop if one is really low sounding and the others are higher that than that speaker can be bad.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
