I have a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe with a factory Monsoon (single CD) h/u and a Delphi amp under the front passenger seat.  I am adding an amp and some speakers from my prior vehicle.   I have a high level to low level converter before my aftermarket crossover and amp.  Is it better to tap into the wires between the h/u and the amp or into the wires running out of the amp to the speakers?

You will want to tap the wires after the factory amp.
