800 watts rms  to each sub would move them dam well still.  Im assuming your amp is 1 ohm stable?

I am very very very impressed with this sub, completely exceded my expectations.  My friend has one, and is feeding it 1000rms in a 1.4 cube sealed box and his body flex's, steering column jumps up and down a couple inches, he needed to fab up a floating deck set up so it wouldn't skip it anymore.  It requires 1" mdf as a MINIMUM for box building, 2 layers of 3/4" is reccomended, and you need to use those bolts and the nuts that counter sink themselves into the wood, , theres no way 8 drywall screws can hold it in the box.

He had 2 R-12's in the same truck before with 500 rms each, and they didn't come close to the volume the 1 X-12 puts out.  Very hard to believe until you test it
