The title says it all - lost and confused.  I am running 2 10" Rockford 2110s and a temporary Jensen 600W amp until i get my MTX Thunder8302 in - here is the story, i wire my subs as needed at 2 ohms onto the Thunder8302 and nothing would come out of the subs, same is happening with jensen - when the jensen was in my buddy's car m,y subs would run on his, so i know the wiring of my subs is all good - next i have 8 gauge power wire, 8 gauge ground wire, blew a AUE 50 Fuse, remote lead in - its in a del sol - i am getting absolutely NADA outta my subs, do i need different wiring? i have had numerous people try to help but nobody knows

any suggestions are welcome at all, im just temporarily borrowing the jensen to try to troubleshoot, thanks for any help guys

First thing make sure that the amp is turning on. Check the main fuse on the battery for your amp, not in the amp itself. If the amp is not turning on it could be a bad remote lead from your radio, in that case you can use your ignition wire to turn your amp on and off. Make sure that the paint under that ground that you have for the amp is completely removed to bare metal for a solid ground and good connection. Post your results.

Lost and Confused -- posted image.that's not good. Did it touch the neg? Now we know that you will have to replace that wire. Hopefully that's all that it was.

well i saved the wire, it was pinched under something, and my hood put more pressure on it, so i believe it cut thru, it grounded against the body and now part of my engine bay is charred, im lucky
