Everything is hooked up for my led scanner I connected the red wire to constant  12 volt, the black to a ground, and the yellow to the orange wire on my rattler 300 (- 500ma when armed only), but the led will not shut off.  When I arm the alarm it will just light up, and stay lite-(no flash patter), when not armed still stays lite but will go through the patterns.  Anyone know what I did wrong?????

you will need to add a diode on the orange wire. cut the orange wire place a 1 amp diode in line with the stripe side of the diode facing the alarm side. Now connect your yellow wire from your led to the orange wire (ground when armed) between the diode and the alarm. This should take care of your problem.
