ok heres the issue im having i put a DEI avital 4103 into this car and all was well so i thought im using the white and WHITE/ black for the locks diode isolated bands facing the module and the locks work ok till i close the doors and lock them wait about 5 mins then come back to the car and the car wont unlock it but will lock when this happens the cars lock switch on the door doesnt respond to unlock either but yet still locks fine till i manually unlock the door using the key in the door cyl. then all is well again if i unplug the lock wires from the R/S module the problem isnt there   any ideas ?    P.S i also have this same issue on a 06 explorer same system

Whay are you using diodes for the unlock and lock wires ?

Power Lockwhite -dr kick or BCM, 26 pin plug, pin 22
Note:The BCM (Body Control Module) is above the brake pedal switch.
Power UnlockWHITE/ black -dr kick or BCM, 26 pin plug, pin 9
Note:The BCM (Body Control Module) is above the brake pedal switch. To unlock the driver door only, use blue (-) at the BCM, 22 pin plug, pin 16.

Wow, having almost the exact same problem on a 01 Camry! Few posts down...No diodes

i installed it without diodes first then tryed with diodes same problem   im using those wires of done these cars before with no issues   the wire tested right   im also hooked into the arm (gray)and disarm (brown) wires for the factory alarm system

do you think using a relay to control the unlock on just the drivers door acuator will solve this ??
