I put in an UltraStart remote starter in a 1999 pontiac montana and I used a leftover gmdaa (data) for the pk3 bypass and now it starts and other times it doesn't. Is there a keysense wire that has to be hooked up? What wire would I hook up to that if that is needed?

when it doesn't start have you isolated whether it is a Transponder issue or a tach issue?    does the model require a keysense wire to be connected? most data solutions do not...

it starts sometimes and dies the next and the passkey light flashes, it turns out other then being outdated (obsolete) the module was only designed for 2000+ montanas, hence the reason why it partly works, i guess. I chose to go with a 555g (dei) that should work
