That's a Sebring Convertible JX

I installed a remote start box a while back, and that function works great. The unit also has a power lock feature, but I wasn't able to get it going. The instructions say to use a WHITE/ green wire at the back of the fuse box, feed it 12V to lock and 12V through a 1500-ohm resistor to unlock. While this sounds funky to me, nothing Chrysler does surprises me anymore, so I went with it. I fed 12V to every WHITE/ green wire I could find back there, but the locks never made a sound.

My questions:

1. Does this "one wire" scheme sound right to you? I can't find a wiring diagram for the locks on my car anywhere.

2. If it's not right, what is? A diagram would be nice.

Power Unlock WHITE/ LIGHT GREEN (+) AT BCM MODULE AT FUSE PANEL BEHIND LEFT SIDE OF DASH

PIN #8 OR #18 - USE A 1500-OHM RESISTOR IN LINE WITH THE UNLOCK OUTPUT AND ATTACH TO THE WIRE.

PowerLock WHITE/ LIGHT GREEN (+) AT BCM MODULE AT FUSE PANEL BEHIND LEFT SIDE OF DASH

PIN #8 OR #18 - NO RESISTOR REQUIRED ON THE LOCK OUTPUT WIRE.

this is common on cryslers its a multiplexed system ALWAYS use a DMM before connecting to anything. your lucky you didnt fry anything doing that. you will need to use 2 relays for this use the relay section on this site for how to wire them

Great! I love having pin numbers, makes things so much easier when I know exactly where to look. Shame more wiring diagrams don't mention pins or connectors.

Next question: I also want to use the trunk pop feature. The database on this site says the trunk release uses a GREEN/ black wire at the driver's kick panel. Is there a pin/connector there, or is it just passing through on the way from the switch to the solenoid?
