I need alot of help on installing the viper 5901 on my 2006 chevy equinox

i dont have any bypass systems yet so i need to start their anyone install one on this type of car before that might be able to help from start to finish?

also since i need a bypass to start the car what if i leave the bypass out and just use the alarm will that work thanks

you can use an XK06 from xpresskit or ads al-ca from idatalink as your bypass. both work great and are easy to install. if you arent going to use the remote start portion of your system then you could be wasting some cash since an alarm only is much cheaper. but if you wanted to you could use just the alarm portion. most of your wire connections will be at the BCM which is located under the radio behind the heater controls.

i need help i bought a viper alarm and it was asking to ground out from remote start

anyone help?

second page by the way i have a viper 5901 what wire is the bypass talking about that i need to plug into the viper
