Hi,
After arming the Viper 5901, my remote tells me "door open." Went around and made sure the doors were closed. Tried it again, same thing.
So I roll the windows down, and arm the alarm. I unlock each door and I find the alarm isnt picking up when either front door is opened. The rear doors trigger the alarm.
The factory alarm goes off when I open the front drivers door, but not when I open the front passenger door.
Viper 5901 alarm with an Idatalink bypass. Ive had it installed for awhile now, with zero issues. It just started doing this today.
I have it soldered W2W. Everything is heat shrinked or taped up good. I checked the door trigger wire going to the bypass and it seems to be a solid connection.
Think the bypass is the issue? Or is there something that I overlooked?
THanks, Matt

Everything else works perfect, the shock sensor, locks, R/S.
Has to be a reason why the alarm isnt acknowledging the front doors. THe domelight comes on when you open the front doors.
The siren also chirps once after the arming chirps, telling me that a door is open.
Anyone?

No idea why the front doors aren't being picked up?

Good heads up! Reprogrammed the bypass and all is well..for now. Any idea why that happened? No work has been done on the truck, so it isnt like the battery was disconnected.
Anyways, thanks!
