Greetings fellow enthusiasts/installers!
Was wondering if anyone has attempted with success any of the new Mazdas with P-T-S?
We attempted an install utilizing DEI products the other day, talked with 3 different techs @ DEI, including an "engineer" in Canada's DEI HQ, and nobody could explain/help out.
Unit was a Avital 4103, bypass was DB-ALL. We could get everything working, except the data (s-comm)wire. We got it to initialize programming, would go thru the first 2 steps of programming with the valet keys like the directions read, but once we go to the next step, wihch is the data-feedback step, the bypass times itself out and says it cannot communicate with the vehicle.
Again, we've contacted DEI with little help.
Anyone used a different unit/brand and had success with this vehicle?!?!
Thanks in advance-
