I've just installed a 790 with one 530T for the front windows. My problem is that I want one button on the remote to crack the windows without delay, then if I hold it for 1.5 seconds, it should roll them down completely. As of now, I have to hold the channel two button for 1.5 seconds to get the windows to crack, and 4.5 seconds to get them to roll down. I tried channel 4 with the same results. Do I need a Bitwriter to remove the delay in channel 2?

Also, where can I pick up the hard/soft ware to program my alarm via computer?

Thanks

-Matt

I put my 530t on a different channel just for that reason. I'm not sure how the 790 is, but on my alarm, channel 2 is for the trunk release, so it has a 2 second delay automatically. I put my 530 on channel 4, so there's no delay.

I tried it on channel 4, but the remote was configured where I had to push two buttons simultaneously for channel 4. The delay was still present. Maybe if I reconfigure the remote to perform channel 4 with a single button push then there won't be any delay. I'll try it today, but if anyone else is familiar with this please let me know. Thanks.

Yea, I reprogrammed mine for "Auto Learn Single Button Arm/Disarm Configuration". #1 is lock/unlock/panic, #2 is the trunk (delay), #3 is the remote start, and #4 is the windows (no delay).
(Like on page 33 of the 790xv's install manual).

I am going to do the same with my Matrix RS3.  I want to use channel 2.  I have the bitwriter.  Will I be able to change the setting to "no delay" for channel 2?  Please let me know.

Thanks !

Channel two cannot be adjusted or changed, channel 3/4 can be adjusted to validity(on as long as you hold the button), latched(on until you turn it off or choose of with ignition), or a 30 second latched. Check the settings for channel four of your alarm's, if they are something different then validity then change them to validity.

Upon arming, no matter what channel, the windows will roll up?  Just as long as it's connected to the orange ground when armed?

make sure you put a diode on or you might drain your battery.
