06 impreza w viper 5204 shows no voltage

I tried posting this as a public question but the site would say "error posting public question" with no further info. I've installed my 5204 remote start, http://goo.gl/zuVtJl, but pressing the remote start doesn't crank the car. I followed the diagram for my car, http://goo.gl/EgPUKk, all the connections seem good. When I press the remote start button I don't see any accessory lights in the car, I hear a click, and the horn sounds for 10 seconds. This happens 3 times then the remote stops the sequence. The status led will blink two different shutdown codes, 9 and 4. If I start with my key, then remote start, the car turns off when the key is removed. My car doesn't use transponder keys and it acts the same if I try remote starting with the key in the ignition. I used a multimeter to test the accessory, starter, ignition wires. I would disconnect the remotes violet starter output from the car and press the remote start button. With a probe on chassis ground a one on violet, starter output, I couldn't see the unit ever provide 12v like it were trying to crank. This was the same for ignition and accessory too. Shouldn't I see the remote start try to provide voltages at times during the remote start process?

H3 has red, RED / white and RED / black. Along with the red at H1 do they all go to a CONSTANT power source?

Yeah that was the first guide I followed. All of his wires matched to mine so I figured it would be fine. That guide isn't for a Viper though so I'm assuming I have more wires that he didn't have. Here's everything I have wired to the Viper unit.

No they don't. I hadn't thought of having to connect all 4 to 12V, thanks. I'll try wiring them up tonight.

You might also have an OEM immobiliser, think about a by-pass.

Would an immobilizer be the same as requiring a transponder key? Mine was the last year without needing a transponder key. I use a regular cut metal key all the time so I'm assuming I didnt need a bypass.

OK, you're quite correct. I get a bit confused sometimes because ALL cars in Europe sold after 1/1/97 had OEM immobilisers.

WOOT! IT WORKS! the 2 issues I was having. 1) I had poor lighting so accidentally connected a PURPLE / white starter wire to my horn instead of the BROWN / white horn wire. So I was getting the horn at each attempt to start. 2) I didn't hook the Red, RED / White, RED / Black wires that howie II suggested. In my defence I've included a photo of the wiring sheet that came in the box and they don't say anything about +12v for those 3 wires. Online manuals for the same unit do indicate 12V. Am I OK leaving this hooked up to 12V? Thanks all, and had it not been for those 2 mistakes it would have been a fairly easy install. The number of wires makes it a PITA to mount somewhere safe, secure, and discrete though.
