First, what type of vehicle do you have? Does it have a factory alarm? What type of sensor are you trying to add?

let see if i can help
you can get any sensor (impact sensor) a one stage sensor is good enough. use that with a relay to break off the door trigger, hence opening the door and the horn will sound off.

You can buy inexpensive car alarms that will upgrade your keyless entry to a full-featured alarm system, with starter kill, parking lights, shock sensor, illuminated entry, and so forth.....around $50 wholesale price.
You can look on eBay for DEI's Hornet 700T. It is a half-decent unit but lacks several desirable features. The shock sensor is built into the brain, so you have to mount the brain where you can get to it for adjustments. You must buy your own starter kill relay separately. The parking light output is a low-current negative---you must buy a relay to make the high-current positive that your car requires.
At work, I use the Audiovox Pursuit PRO9232S. It has outboard shock, high-current parking lights, starter kill included, and is easy to install. I've never seen those easily purchased without install, but if you can find one it would be good.
