Hi zfshrmn, sounds  you do not have 12V+ going to both Grey / YELLOW ignition leads during start.

Hi zfshrmn, the factory disarm lead is Dark GREEN/ Purple in the driver's kick panel. Apply a negative pulse to this lead to disarm the factory alarm.

You want the two Grey / YELLOW ignition leads to have 12V+ just before, during, and after start. When you test these leads they will show 12V+ anytime the key is in the "Run" position.

your car should have a transponder based system in it thats why your car only satrts with the key in the ignition you will need to bypass that with a bypass module or another spare key.when you r key is in the ignition is thier a little key light that shows on your dashboard?????????

by bypassing the factory alarm will not bypass the transponder system the alarm is not keeping your car from starting it is the transponder in the factory key
