I want to use a 529T to open and close my electric cutout on my car (DC motor that opens and closes allowing full open exhaust or regular exhaust) automatically off of a full throttle 12V+ switch.

This is a regular 12VDC motor equivilant to a power window motor. I'm looking at the instructions and I came up with the following:

Green to positive side of motor

Blue to negative side of motor

Red - 12V+

Black - 12V-

And a relay hooked up :

85 ground

86 - 12v+ trigger from full throttle switch

30 ground

87 Orange

87A ORANGE / Black

This will cause the rest at ground on side A to close the cutouts then stop, 12V+ from full throttle switch will open the cutouts and keep them open until 12V+ is removed while not at full throttle. This won't be active all the time just when I close a switch allowing the 12v+ through to the relay.

Do I have this right?

Well, that didn't work. I'm not even getting a test light to light for a second when it's hooked up that way...

Any ideas?
