hi,

i forget which model viper i have but i have the remote start and my x-mitters have the 4 buttons on them (my alarm has a antenna for increased range if that helps any).

well, i dont drive the car much, so the remote has been on the keychain and has lost sync with the alarm.

so, is there something I can do to help the remote speak to the alarm again? i have been pressing the button on the remote but that has not yielded any results.

thanks for any info!

Find the brain of the alarm and then go to Directed.com and download an install manual. Find the section that tells you how to program new remotes for your alarm and try to recode the remote to the alarm. If the alarm doesn't make a noise when you push the remotes button then the remote is bad.
