Hello all. I have just purchased a car secuirity system with remote start and keyless entry. I am a mechanic not a installer but I would like to tackle this one on my own. I have a 1990 Silvarado 3/4 ton 2WD. The locks are the 5 wire with a "ground at rest" set up. I have found on this site that I need 2 realys to make it work. However when I wire them up according to the diagram the regular door lock switch works but when I go to use the remote the lock will work then blow the fuse running the alarm. The alarm is the only device on the wire and it is a 20 AMP fuse running from the Bat. It seams to me like After the relay closes there is a very brief ground present. any help would be greatly apreciated. thanks is advance Jim

sounds like you have the switch side and the motor side reversed.
