I have installed an Aladdin 2000 on my car, 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

My car is equipped with a factory alarm and key transponder.   suprisngly the transponder wasnt that hard to bypass with a 555u unit.  anyway, the problem i have now it my door use to operate as such:

push unlock once:  driver door unlocks ; push unlock again and passenger unlocks

with the aladdin i can only unlock the driver door or if i set it to double pulse, it pulses the drivers door 2x and the passenger door once.  with the single pulse setting on the aladdin i can only unlock the driver door no matter how many times i push the unlock button.

now i push lock/unlock 1 time and i get 2 pulses on the driver and one on the passenger everytime.  i am afraid of the extended waar and tear on the driver door motor but other than that i liked the old way.  is this an alarm limitation or a wiring problem?

also i think the Aladdin 2k offers 3 methods of door pulses:  singe .25 single .5 and double .

any thoughts?

Did you want to keep the door lock function as it is factory or did you want to be able to unlock both doors with a single push of the unlock button ?
