I have a 1995 Eclipse that has a factory alarm.  I am about to put in an aftermarket alarm by Viper.  Does anyone know how to disable the factory alarm? Is there a wire I have to ground out in order to keep the OEM alarm disarmed????

Any Help Please?

No, take a jumper wire ( just a small piece of wire ) and attach one end to ground and the other end to the GREEN / WHITE wire. When the ground touches the GREEN / WHITE wire it will disarm the OEM security. If the jumper wire is removed, then the OEM DIARM is not engaged and will arm like normal again. If you want to retain the OEM security and have the Viper alarm control the OEM security, you can attach the OEM DISARM wire from the Viper to this wire instead and still retain all OEM functions + have the Viper system as well.
