2003 Silverado R/S Problems

I hope some on can help me with my problems.  I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado LT not the base model and I am trying to install a Bull Dog 1100 R/S.  I have also purchased the 791 Bypass and the 456G databus module. First of all everything seems to function right execpt the check engine light is on and the doors chime real fast after I unlock and open the door.  I have been reading articles online about the Ignition wires all needing to be hooked up correctly to fix the check engine light.  What I dont understand  is what I could have done wrong here since I also purchased the igntion harnese from bull dog.  So I didnt have to splice any ignition wires in the truck.  As for the door chimes any suggestions here would be greatly apprecated.  To me it almost seems to have something to do with the door triggers since it starts as soon as I open the door.  Also, the only way to get it to stop is to relock the doors with the drivers door open then unlock.  This clears the chime.  Any help would be greatly apprecated...  Just to add to the confusion I completely disconnected the door triger wire on the 1100 just to see if it would fix the problem.  This did nothing..

it could be chiming if the lights are still flashing.  its the parking lights being on and the door open.  just an idea.

whats the other problem?  no remote start?  did you install a passlock II interface?

yeah check what Velocity is saying, on techsoft it says,

To avoid the check engine light from coming on and possible damage to the automatic transmission, the second ignition in this vehicle MUST be powered when adding a remote start system.

i dont know why it would still happen with the key, tho.

So this Ignition wire should only have power while cranking or while the key is in the run position?
