i am an installer for AUTOWATCH CAR SECURITY new zealand. yes it is a bit tricky to get the central locking wires for the mitsi airtrek but there are 2 ways of doing it.

1) if the vehicle has a door motor in the drivers door (fully central locking) then you can do a FLOW THROUGH method where you can cut the drivers door motor wires and run them with the alarm system.

2) if you want to find negative switching, then you will have to take the central locking module (a big box behind the fuse box) open it and pick up 2 thin contacts which will be you negative trigger wires for the central locking.but be aware, in this method, you can easily burn the circuit board if you are not too carefull.

any problems, email me on badnadtrade@hotmail.com

I'll be back, so nobody go no where
