NOTE *     The BODY CONTROL MODULE ( BCM ) is part of the FUSE/ RELAY BOX on the FRONT PASSENGER SIDE of the CENTER CONSOLE. The BCM has (4) FOUR Plugs C1,C2,C3 and C4.

NOTE **    This vehicle has (4) FOUR DOOR TRIGGERS. The DOOR TRIGGERS are: DRIVERS DOOR GRAY/BLACK ( - ), PASSENGER DOOR TAN/WHITE ( - ), LEFT REAR DOOR LT. BLUE/BLACK ( - ) and the RIGHT REAR DOOR LT. GREEN/ BLACK ( - ). Use all (4) FOUR and DIODE ISOLATE when connecting to an ALARM.

NOTE ***  The TACH wire on the  2.2L is a WHITE or ORANGE and on the 3.5L it is a  PURPLE or ORANGE / WHITE at the IGNITION CONTROL MODULE.

NOTE ****     The STARTER wire is NOT REQUIRED for REMOTE STARTING, when the BCM sees the IGNITION ON and the ACCESSORY wire lose voltage, it will automatically crank the starter.

NOTE *****    This vehicle uses a (1) one wire door locking system, and requires a (-) Negative (type "B") pulse to the WHITE wire to LOCK and a (-) Negative (type "B") pulse thru a 1500 ohm resistor on the same WHITE wire to UNLOCK. The doors must be closed for the keyless entry to operate. Relays are required if the unit DOES NOT have on-board relays to operate the door locks.

hi snguyen,

could you please also post a wiring diagram for Hyundai Elantra 2002? I'd like to see if it's the same wiring diagram i got from commandocaralarms.com. I'm still not sure about the door lock/unlock wire -- the diagram says: blk/org or blue for lock (same wire for unlock).

Thanks

Ken
