I am having trouble configuring a Bulldog RS82 in a Ford Escape 02.  I have two major problems!

Problem One:

I have wire and programmed the RS82 unit so that I could use the factory keyless entry remote to start the car starter.  Problem is, I am able to start the car using the Bulldog remote but I have not been successful with the factory keyless entry remote.

With further Diagnostic:

- When I touch the AMA wire to a ground (3 times consecutively) it will activate the starter and start the car.

- If I probe the pink /black* wire I so no voltage and when pressing the lock button I see 12 voltage positive (before the relay) though I did notice that it is a fast trigger.

(…Could it be too fast for the relay to react?)

NOTE:

* The wiring diagram states that I should be using the pink/white wire, but after a quick test I discovered that the pink/black wire is the right one because the pink/white is providing a constant 12 volts.

Problem Two:

When I start the car using the RS 82 auto starter and the bulldog remote, the Ford remote does not work but when I to turn off the car using the Bulldog remote then the Ford remote will work again.

Wire details:

From the Bulldog RS82 rev.P                           Ford Escape 02

(Remote starter)

2- FASD (red/black) -------------------- Dark Blue/Light Green

3- Tach (-) ---------------------------------N/ C

(12+ when door close button is activated)

6- Factory By pass (Ylw/Black) ------ to Bulldog 791 Bypass Unit

7- Brake Input (Blue Black) ---------- Brake Input

8 - Parking Light ( Brown) ----------- to Park light

9 – Ground (Black ---------------------- Ground

Can anyone help me here?
