Vehicle notes |
PLEASE NOTE: Equipped with PASSLOCK II anti-theft system, see security diagram. For remote start installation, it will be necessary to pulse the TAN (driver's doorpin wire) to shut off the RAP system or the radio and accessories with stay on after the remote starter has shut down. Use you remote starter's rearm wire or any wire that provides a pulse after shutdown. SECOND IGNITION must be connected for remote start or the transmission computer will shut down ( engine light comes on ), and the vehicle will not shift properly.* There is more than one wire of this color, please test carefully.** There is a domelight override on the light switch. When this switch is turned on, the courtesy lights do not come on either. To insure proper protection of the doors, you will need to go directly to the Body Control Module located behind the dash in front of the center console. There you can find a TAN(driver's door), ORANGE(passenger door), BLUE/WHITE(rear doors) and PINK/BLACK (hatch). These wires are not affected by the override switch.*** This is also the driver's doorpin wire, ground this wire with lock to arm the factory security. Also shuts down RAP system.**** Pin-3 of the 24-pin BLACK connector. |
