Just wondering, my alarm has no input wiring for my remote start harness, this should have came with the alarm right, or do I have to buy the harness seperately?  I want to have seperate inputs for my merc switches rather than running both dioded to my trunk input.  I need to see if I need to go to the installers and get what's rightfully mine.

Thanks

Soooo..... do you have a 690Xv or a 791Xv? I am confused as to which harness you are talking about. The satellite relay harness? The XCRS itself? The tach/brake/hood/neut. safety/2nd status harness?

As the topic says it is a viper 790 XV alarm, and I am referring to the remote start harness 6 pin H3 harness which includes the hood sensor input.  Do you know anything about the 790XV's?

The 790 does not have the new mini relay as the 791xv does.If you bought it new, Yes, it should have had all the harness's that are required. You need the hood sensor input for the RS to work. Is this a manual car? They may not have included the missing items because of that?

I'd definetly go back and ask them where the other parts are.

Good Luck

Jeff

790 will need the 6pin.... status, hood, brake, neut. safety, tach, and second status.
I have actually hit a couple units that were missing a harness. No biggie, that's what the "parts" boxes are for. And, yes... I know the 790 quite well.
