NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with PASS-Key II (VATS). .  *1 Larger of the two at the light switch. Can also find BROWN / white in the passenger kick panel in the harness to the rear.  *2 BCM is to the left of the steering column  *3 ECM is in the air cleaner assembly.

also can anyone tell me what the resistance is on the key because i need to figure out what size resistor to use.

You need to read it with an DMM.   They are all different.

you need to measure it thru the wire or get a bypass that learns the resistance.

Most any good remote start includes a section on VATS bypass.
