Has anybody here figured out how to install an HT-455 alarm using all the features? The instructions are really bad. And I can't find help with this thing anywhere on the web.

I need to know what they mean by open dormer. I don't know what Engine cap is. I don't know how to hook up the door switch wires. I also can't figure out where to place the main lights wire. Thank you.

Engine cap is for the hood pin you don't have to hook it up.  I don't know what open dormer is but I don't use it. As for the door switch wires your car is either (-) or (+) triggered use the one of off the alarm that matches the ones on your car.

What is your car's year, make, and model

I have a 1986 Mazda B2000 and a 1995 Hyandi Accent. I got alarms for both vehicles.

ipolito hello there the open dormer is for a mod interface which will turn the light on in the car when you disarm the alarm but you will have to buy this mod you can get them from clifford and they work fine.
