Hi, does anyone have the installation manual manual for the K9-Classic?  When it was installed we only got the operation guide.  Now I wanted to add a remote starter to it myself.

I found this from another thead but it is for the extended version. Not sure if they use the same color codes and wiring diagrams.

Thanks

Most remote starts have a - trigger in to activate it
If you adding a R/S to somthing els then all you need is the - trigger out from what your adding to
So just test the unit for a - output. it may be a cut off wire from when the 1st person installed the K9
Look for wires that are not connected

I was going over the pdf file and was a little confused at how the door locks are being triggered to lock/unlock.  Can someone clarify this for me?

Thanks

Just realized it's a 4pin connector that's not listed on the pdf file.

Thanks

Usually only 2 wires are on the Plug:
GREEN is Lock
BLUE is UNLock
If you have the 4 wire Plug:
Pink is second Unlock
Blue is 1st Unlock
Green is Lock
Red is 12 Volts + Constant for Relays
