When the key sense wire has been bypassed the car will only start for one second and then shut down.  If the key is set in the ignition, in the off position the remote start works fine.  Is there any other wire than the blue red that needs to be interfaced?

How do you interface the factory trunk release wiring.  I realize that it is not a simple positive trigger system.  According to the fact sheet the system is 5wi.  What does this mean?

What needs to be done to interface the remote start with the keysense. I have by passed the blue/red wire and the car will only run for one second. If the key is inserted into the ignition in the off positioin the remote starter works fine. Is there another wire that needs to interfaced  for the unit to work?

DO you have a bypass module?  There's a chip in the plastic head of that key.  Depending on the module you get you'll have to place one of the keys to the car in the module for it to transmit the signal from the key to the key cylinder when remote started.
