hi all, im new to the site, my name is danny, i have a ford fiestaon a M reg 1994 , ive just fitted a shark car alarm as i cant really afford much else, and i have a central locking kit for it, the car alarm has one output wire for the central locking and the central locking has a lock and unlock wire.

i was told by maplins, which is where i got the alarm and central locking kit from that i needed a 5 pin relay switch now i no that i put the central locking output wire from the alarm into the input on the relay, and that the lock wire goes on one side and the unlock wire goes on the other side, but what 2 wires go into the coil to make the whole thing work??????

please i really really really need your help.

thank you

Danny :D

If you are using 2 wire Actuators

You will need 2 SPDT ( Single Pole Double Throw ) Relays:

If you are using 5 wire Actuators, then you probably have built in Lock / Unlock Switching and you will need a Relay to Switch those also
