I installed a Viper 550esp in my 97 GMC Suburban.  Everything works great.  I just need to know how to either disable the factory keyless entry or deprogram remotes from the factory keyless.  I borrowed a remote from a freind to use till I got the alarm in and now I want to deprogram it from my Suburban and program it into his Suburban.  I know how to program them in by shorting the 4th and 8th pins on the ALDL plug under the dash.  So I tried shorting the pins and then not learning any remotes in, but that didn't work.  Any and all help or suggestions will be appreiciated.  And like I said I will disable it if I have to.  Thanks in advance.

Only way to deprogram the OEM FOB remote is to replace the current code with another one from another remote FOB.
