Hi,
I have nearly finished instaling my Toad A850T in to my Peugeot 306. I however have a few problems with the inhbit wire. At the moment I have had to just ground the wire so set the alarm, the problem with this is that it can be armed and disarmed via the reomte and with a key. I just cant work out how to connect it up.. I have tried connecting it to the idicators but when i do that it will not arm. I have also tried adding a relay so that if the idicators are activated (as when the remote is pressed) it activates the realy switch and i have the inhbit wire go to ground, still can not arm. Any ideas on how this needs to be set up.
Also one other issues I am having is that when you program the alarm the led is either suppose to be on or off, for the switch that you are changing. this does not happen. I do however get either 1 beep or 2 beeps..
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there,
that sounds as if it could be a dodgy alarm module.

hopefully i`m not too late replying, when connecting the inhibit wire you need to use a diode and a resistor.

put the diode inline the cable and the band(white ring mark) facing the alarm, and at any point between the diode and the alarm ground the cable with a 1k resistor.

so when u lock or unlock the inhibit wire will pickup the pulse from the indicator.
