I've got a Lexus RX300 1999, with the remote on top of the key. The problem is the factory alarm keeps going off after about 10 min. after it sets.... anyone have any suggestions?????

Have you got the Key Sense wire hooked up??

BLUE wire @ Ignition Switch Harness

Using the status output wire from the remote start to trigger this wire will disarm the factory alarm without unlocking the doors.

I don't think you understand what I was saying, the alarm is a factory installed piece, I haven't installed anything to the system.... this is a customer of mine that got this Lexus from the auction and I'm trying to get the Factory alarm to work right....

I take the first answer more. Open zone, maybe. If you can lock the doors. It looks more of a faulty unit.
