Vehicle - 1998 Ford F150

I have installed the DEI Hornet 742T. Everything is working fine except the manual talks about progressive unlocking (drivers door first than passenger door with a second push of disarm button). The subject shows up under installation options, but does not give any further how-to. Right now they both unlock at the same time. I have cut the pink / YELLOW (power lock) and pink/green (power unlock) and attached the alarm wires for a type C (reversing polarity system) as per the installation guide.

Can this function be accomplished within the unit by changing wires or is it something I need to add a relay for?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Does the unit have a "second unlock"  or a "drivers priority" unlock youll need 3 relays one for unlocking the drivers door, one for unlocking the pass. door, and one for locking ALL doors.Check the install manual for a "different" unlock wire. I am NOT a DEI guy, so I do not know off the top of my pea brain. I did some reading, your unit has built in lock relays, thats too bad. Look at one of the 3 aux. outputs see if one of those could be used as a second unlock trigger. I read some more, and it does say in the owners manual Progressive unlocking is an option.....so ther MUST be a seperate trigger for priority unlocking....

Thanks for the reply

After further looking I found this in the install manual.

If the pic did not come out correctly it says there is (-) second unlock wire.

I am not real sure what to do with H3/1 (blue wire). I am assuming I need to run it over the passenger kick panel and cut the unlock wire and attach it there.

Thanks
