Remote starter in 99 Accent not heating

I've owned my Accent GSI for 3 years now and just love it. haven't had any problems and wondered if maybe I lucked out given all the other complaints I hear about them. Recently though I had a basic ProStart car starter installed and when I use the remote the car starts but the heater doesn't come on. It's something I'd rather fix myself and am learning about how they are hooked up but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where to start. I'm also wondering if power locks on the remote are easy to do, but one project at a time.Thanks a lot,a keep up the great web site

it appears that one of the accessory wires in the car is not being powered up by the remote start
