Gonna be doing one for a friend here in the next few months. He was kinda stuck on using the factory remotes, but he doesnt have too. How Can i wire it up so it works like the factory remotes? each remote has the signal for the memory seat for each user. Are there any units (DEI) that I can do this easily with? and was planning on using the XK01 from bypasskit for all the data functions and the passlock as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated

XK01, or GM-DLBP will make ALL aftermarket remotes act as Driver 1. As far as I know, all the other brands of databus modules do the same thing too.
The simplest thing would just be to have the secondary driver (#2) press the 2 button the door when entering the car.
If he really, really needs to have the two separate driver settings, you could always put in a simple 1-button remote start, and have him keep the factory remotes for the locks.

Well if the remote starter unit you are using has additional channels and the Remotes can be configured to specific driver then this is the part you will use.

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.
