I have a python 881xp and would like to add horn honk and flashing headlights only when the alarm is triggered.  I dont want the horn and headlights to turn on during arm and disarm.  Which outputs can i use to do this?  What is the relay setup?

Depending on the year you got the 881xp it would be a brown 2 pin plug that goes on the side of the alarm. This is the horn honk output and only goes off during the triggers.  You can diode isolate that wire and tie it into your headlights as well.

The model I have doesn't have a brown 2 pin plug?  How do I add horn honk and flashing headlights to this system?

It is a brown wire in a 2-pin plug with a ORANGE / black wire right next to it, not a brown plug.
Relay pin 85: Brown horn trigger from 881
Relay pin 86 and 87a: Constant fused +12V (heavy enough to power the lights)
Relay pin 30: Out to headlight +12V turn on
Brown wire will also go to the horn trigger with a diode inserted to prevent feedback to the relay. This is of course assuming your vehicle has a negative trigger horn button(most do). Since you do not mention the make/model/year of the vehicle we can only assume it is in the majority.

I have an older 881xp module that doesnt have a dedicated horn honk and 6th channel.  I want to keep the arm and disarm chirp.  When triggered,  have the siren, horn honk and headlights flash.  How can I add horn honk and flashing  headlights using the other output wires with diodes and relays?
