Hi I attempted the Radio on til door open today but I ran into a problem. I wired everything correctly but iv determined that supposivly the door trigger is - and is color coded RED / white in the drivers kick panel. But after testing it that wire is constantly a ground. I tested this by connecting a meter to a constant 12 volt sorce and the other lead to the supposed trigger wire. I think pushed the button on the door jam to simulate a shut door, 12 volts. I let the button out and got 12 volts. Im assuming that this is the wrong wire? Its a 2005 nissan sentra 1.8s. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Also when i wired everything up as per the diagram the radio wouldnt shut off if that helps at all.

sorry disreguard the other post by me.
its red (-) if the car has factory power locks. RED / white is the passenger front door trigger
if the car does not have power locks use the RED / white.
